Citi Philippines named Best Bank in Asia Pacific--again
Is the ninth straight year the bank has won the award.
The Philippine subsidiary of American financial services corporation Citigroup, Inc. was named the Best Bank in the Asia Pacific in 2012 by Asset Magazine.
Asset’s editors noted that 2012 was a breakthrough year in capital markets with Citi handling key issuers via persistent and methodical client coverage. Asia accounts for over 30% of Citi’s global net income.

This is the ninth consecutive year Citi Philippines won the award decided by Asset editors.
Citi Philippines also won praise as the Best Foreign Investment Bank for acting as joint lead manager and joint underwriter for the US$1 billion rights issue of BDO Unibank in July 2012. The transaction was one of the biggest in the Philippines.
