Maybank to add 120 Indonesian branches in 2 years
Maybank plans to add 120 branches in Indonesia overthe next two years.
This will bring their branches to 450 from the present 330.
This is in sync with the bank's Asean expansion, particularly in Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines.
"We have defined our focus which is Asean. We will concentrate on that," said Maybank President/Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar.
Maybank's mandate is to strenghten its position in the domestic market, expand regionally and into a regional financial institution, said Omar.
