The search is on for HKB International Business Awards 2021

Deadline for nominations is on 25 June 2021.

Hong Kong Business is pleased to announce the call for nominations for HKB International Business Awards 2021.

Now in its seventh year, the awards programme recognises outstanding foreign companies that have made significant contributions to Hong Kong's economy.

International enterprises with offices in Hong Kong but headquartered outside the world are welcome to submit their entries, whether this is an innovative product, service, strategy, or project that has significantly strengthened the business.

To be eligible, products or services should be launched within the last two years. Entries launched before this period are qualified as long as recent improvements or innovations have been made.

The prestigious event saw companies like ASSA ABLOY Asia Pacific (Retail), Merrill Corporation (Financial Technology), JCDecaux Transport (Advertising), and Atradius Crédito y Caución S.A.(Insurance Technology) taking home trophies in their respective categories.

"We're delighted to win the award from Hong Kong Business. It's a validation that we've done a great job in bringing this product to market. We're absolutely thrilled," said Gary Judd, regional director of product management for APAC Merrill Corporation.

Merrill Corporation won in the Financial Technology category for its DatasiteOne platform. This technology helps dealmakers simplify, streamline and accelerate the due diligence process.

"Bringing DatasiteOne to the market is the first step in our corporate agenda to really help our customers share their most secure content. Usually, for transactions and events — like fundraising or a merger and acquisitions type of transaction — we're really looking at the entire merger and acquisitions life cycle to help our customers go through that process in a more efficient way," Gary added.

Nomination is free and open until 25 June 2021. Winners will be honoured at the awards ceremony on 21 July 2021 in Hong Kong.
