BSN makes it big with 'Banking Beyond Branches' scheme

Bank Simpanan Nasionalrecorded 35,917 transactions valued at RM2,974,927 since the start of its aggressive drive to promote Banking Beyond Branches.

BSN's 3B began in late January.

BSN Senior Vice President/Community Business Head Azaddin Ngah Tasir said that as at Feb 21, bill payments constituted 84 percent of all transactions and 77 percent in terms of total value.

Other transactions included cash deposits, withdrawals, premium saving certificate and cashless payments.

The bank said public response was encouraging since the two-day aggressive nationwide campaign from Feb 18.
