Two in 5 Malaysians use credit cards as main payment method
A Nielsen study revealed that 39% of Malaysian online consumers use credit cards as a common payment method for dining, shopping and entertainment activities.
At the same time, 92 per cent and 35 per cent use cash and debit cards respectively.
The Nielsen Global Survey of Investment Attitudes surveyed more than 28,000 Internet respondents in 56 countries.
The Nielsen survey is based on the behavior of respondents with online access only.
