Bank Danamon feared to report lower FY12 earnings

According to Maybank Kim Eng, Danamon will announce the consolidated FY12 result on Monday, 18 February 2013 and the financial statement will be published the next morning.

"Based on 11M12 IDR2.8t stand alone net profit, we are likely to see lower-than-expected FY12 figure (vs. our IDR4t estimate) due to slowdown in automotive lending from Adira Finance (ADMF.IJ) and Danamon’s mass market lending in 4Q12. Lower-than-expected FY12 net profit could translate to a short-term weakness in share price," added Maybank.
