The APAC SME Banking Conference rolls out in Malaysia

It will be held on 15th and 16th May 2013.

Malaysian SMEs is a vital component of the country’s economic development. According to SMIDEC(2002), SMEs accounted for 93.8 per cent of companies in the manufacturing sector. 

They contribute 27.3 per cent of total manufacturing output, and employ 38.9 per cent of the country’s workforce. The rising debate and questions about this industry will be shared and explain in detail with an upcoming APAC SME Banking conference which will be held in The Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on the 15th and 16th May 2013.

SMEs development and growth in the banking industry today is a powerful combination of new regulation evolving customer needs and the emergence of new players and technologies. In the current progression of economy, banks should integrate a more client centric strategy to accommodate the fast growing pace of the SME industry.
