Deutsche Bank names Serene Wee as managing director for SEA wealth business

Wee joins from Credit Suisse, where she spent 19 years working with UHNW clients.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Serene Wee as managing director and senior client partner for its Southeast Asia wealth management business.

Wee will be based in Singapore and joined Deutsche Bank’s International Private Bank (IPB) in February 2023.

Prior to working for Deutsche Bank, Wee spent 10 years in Credit Suisse focusing on the ultra high net worth (UHNW) client segment. She has also worked as a relationship manager at BNP Paribas as was a treasury trader with The Royal Bank of Scotland Singapore branch.

In her new role, Wee will focus on delivering tailor-made wealth management solutions to Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients in South-East Asia, including family offices, trusts, foundations, and entrepreneurs across the region, Deutsche Bank said.
