Winnie Chen named BNY Mellon's Singapore chief executive

This is in addition to her role as APAC Head of Treasury Services.

BNY Mellon has named Winnie Chen the Singapore chief executive, who will be responsible for managing the Singapore business.

Chen’s title will be effective immediately and she is tasked to maintain the bank’s governance and manage regulatory expectations.

This new title is added to her present role of Asia Pacific Head of Treasury Services and has taken over Francis Braeckevelt, who will prioritise his new roles in international relations including Latin America.

With an extensive professional background spanning over two decades in the United States, Greater China, and Singapore, Chen brings a wealth of international experience to her expanded role. 

Her expertise covers various domains, including credit administration, sales, treasury services, and transaction banking.
