Overall bank lending jumped to 5-month high in June
Loans reached $606.8b last month.
Total bank lending in Singapore reached a five-month high in June, on back of loan growth in the building and construction and the general commerce sectors.
Data from the Monetary Authority of Singapore show that Loans and advances by domestic banks reached $606.8 billion in June, compared to $597b in May.
Housing and bridging loans reached $180.3b, compared to $179.4b in May and $171.8b a year ago.
