Asian Banking and Finance Retail Banking Awards 2017 now accepting nominations

Entries are accepted until May 12.

Asian Banking and Finance will be holding the 12th Retail Banking Awards this year as it aims to yet again recognise banks that stand out with groundbreaking products and services despite the various challenges the banking sector is facing.

Asian Banking and Finance is proud to announce that the Retail Banking Awards 2017 is now open for nominations.

The Retail Banking Awards brought together more than 200 senior bankers last year at the awarding ceremonies where 65 Asian banks from 24 countries were hailed as winners.

"It’s a very prestigious award and we are very happy that one of our products landed in one of those awards you are giving out. We always look forward to this event yearly. I think the awardees that you are getting are good names in the industry, both local and international," said Jovencio Hernandez, president of PNB Savings Bank, after winning at the Asian Banking and Finance Awards 2016.

Amongst the categories are Domestic Retail Bank of the Year, which is open to predominantly domestic banks; International Retail Bank of the Year, which is open to predominantly international/foreign banks operating in a market; Rural/Cooperative Bank of the Year; Finance Company of the Year, which is open to non bank financial institutions; Branch Innovation of the Year; and many others.

Send your nomination this year for a chance to be one of our esteemed list of winners.

Entries will be judged by a panel of banking and finance experts based on three criteria: Uniqueness & Innovation, Effectiveness & Impact, and Dynamism.

The deadline for submission of nominations is on 12 May 2017, Friday. The Awards dinner will be held on 13 July 2017 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.
