 
  Malaysian banks' bond issuances up 26% to US$4.3b in September
Issuances for the first nine months of 2017 hit US$20.3b.
Maybank Kim Eng reported that Malaysian banks' bond issues in September 2017 totalled MYR17.6b (US$4.3b) versus MYR6.2b (US$1.5b) in September 2016 and MYR8.7b (US$2.1b) in August 2017.
"Bond issuances in the first nine months of 2017 amounted to MYR83.4b (US$20.3b), widening the lead to 26% over the total raised in Jan-Sep 2016 of MYR66.1b (US$16b)," said Maybank Kim Eng.
