HSBC taps 8 ex-Credit Suisse bankers for equities business: report

Appointments were for Hong Kong, London, New York, and Mumbai.

HSBC has hired eight former Credit Suisse traders and sales personnel to its global equities business, the bank announced in a statement.

The eight former staff hired are: Simon Farquharson, Andrew Rush, Simon Ansell, Parin Sanghavi, Joseph Barreto, Matt Flanagan, Alex Martin and Tiffany Chiu.

A ninth hire, Steve Jobber, was formerly at Davidson Kempner.

Appointments were made in London, New York, Hong Kong, and Mumbai, amongst other locations.
