Nomura Holdings amends securities and financial reports
The amendments correct classification errors in its cash flow statements.
Japanese financial institution Nomura Holdings announced that it has made amendments to securities and financial reports between 2019-2022 and selected quarterly reports and financial highlights between 2022-2024.
The amendments correct “certain classification errors within the consolidated statement of cash flows.”
There are no amendments to Nomura’s consolidated statements of income, consolidated balance sheets or unconsolidated financial statements, and no impact to Nomura’s income or capital levels, the financial institution said in a statement.
The latest amended report is Nomura’s financial highlights released for the fiscal year that ended on 31 March 2024.
For the annual securities report and quarterly reports, Nomura restated the consolidated statement of cash flows and related disclosure.
Amendments in the financial highlights, meanwhile, include changing the summary information in the consolidated operating results. Nomura also made changes to the overview of cash flows and consolidated statements of cash flows.
On a separate topic, earlier this year, Nomura reportedly doubled its top managers' pay for the FY2024 period.
