CITIC Limited reports $4.4b profit in H1
An EPS of RMB1.10 has been announced.
Hong Kong-listed CITIC Limited saw its profit fall to $4.4b (RMB32.09b) in the first half of 2023, from the $5.72b (RMB41.66b) it recorded for the same period in 2022.
Discounting a one-off revaluation gain of CITIC Securities’ consolidated earnings in 2022, profit attributable to ordinary shareholders rose by 2.3%, the company said in its latest financial statement.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the period is approximately $0.15 (RMB1.10), lower than the EPS of $0.20 (RMB1.43) a year ago.

Dividend per share is RMB0.18 for H1 2023.
The company recorded total revenue of $45.92b (RMB334b), a year-on-year increase of 2.8%.
The board recommends a dividend distribution of RMB0.18 per share, with a total dividend amount of over RMB5.23b.
