 
  StanChart taps Cushman & Wakefield for upgraded property services
C&W will help drive the bank's sustainability agenda across its real estate portfolio.
Standard Chartered (SC) has teamed up with Cushman & Wakefield to provide services to support the bank’s Asia workplace transformation.
The five-year mandate, effective 1 July 2024, will also encompass StanChart’s global asset & transactions management and property services, notably their 11 million square foot (sqft) global real estate portfolio.
Cushman & Wakefield will also offer property services to SC’s Integrated Facilities Management, Project & Design Management Services, Space Planning, Occupancy Management, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Physical Security.

Cushman & Wakefield is expected to work with SC’s wealth and retail banking (WRB), and corporate & investment banking (CIB) arms, to support the local and international banking needs of its clients.
Standard Chartered will also work with Cushman & Wakefield to drive its sustainability agenda across the bank’s footprint, with a focus on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) goals.
This will also involve increasing the use of renewable energy, and accelerating outcomes in partnerships with external communities.
