Philippines’ Security Bank celebrates 70th year anniversary
The bank has launched the “Better Banking” brand campaign to complement this.
The Philippines’ Security Bank Corporation celebrated its 70th year anniversary in 18 June.
To complement this, the bank launched the “Better Banking” and “You Deserve Better” brand campaigns.
Established on 18 June 1951, the bank opened its doors as the first private and Filipino-controlled bank of the post-World War II Era. It reportedly was the first bank among peers to have the greatest number of branches in Metro Manila.
The bank also introduced the first credit card franchise in the country, the Diners Club Card, and launched several trust products and services in the market that served as forerunners of pre-need and common-trust plans.
“As we celebrate our 70th anniversary, we look back on the Bank’s successes over the last seven decades that have ultimately paved the way for us to innovate and create more customer-centric offerings tailor-fit to the needs of Filipinos,” says Security Bank President and CEO Sanjiv Vohra. “As we adapt to the new normal, we continue to commit to our promise of BetterBanking service while ensuring our clients’ and employees’ safety and security during this time.”
The promise to deliver BetterBanking extended to the bank’s wholesale offerings through the roll-out of the DigiBanker cash management system which allows business owners to efficiently manage cash flows and payments on a secure online platform.
