Deutsche Bank appoints new Japan head of global transaction banking

Rei Motoyama will replace Peter Massion effective 1 January.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Rei Motoyama as head of global transaction banking in Japan effective 1 January 2020, according to a news release.

She will replace Peter Massion.

Motoyama will be responsible for corporate bank services in the country, including cash management, trade financing and lending, and trust and agency services. She will also directly spearhead financial institutions coverage within corporate banking coverage.

She joined the bank in 2003 and was recently co-head of wholesale coverage.
